Does Robbie Dream?

Is a personal project. I develop and sometimes finance projects that I think might be relevant or beneficial to the world. We are 3 people involved in this project working on development, research, and management. We are currently working on a platform that will connect parents and therapists of children on the autistic spectrum.

I also give consultations for companies that require my insights in product development, team management, or even my services as a team leader for organizing processes on their teams. Beyond minor involvement with some clients, I worked for over a year with Smartraining, a Chile-based company that provides online learning content production and platforms.

They require me different services throughout the year we worked together. Started developing and assembling their in-house development team, conducting interviews, and establishing their internal development processes. After that, I started working on requirements production, had several client meetings to elicit requirements and needs, and put those down in documentation to provide the development team.

I was hired to work as a lead frontend developer in PetPro Connect, a product they had on its MVP stage and required a more structured architecture. I stayed with this team for a few months before deciding to start my own project, but in those months we managed to define a base structure and guidelines for the frontend team.

When I started working with them, I had to decide whether we were going to build an Angular or a React app. I studied both and went with Angular. In the first year, we refactor almost every part of the legacy App and started assembling a small team.

At the end of my time in Alquilando, we had a scalable productive platform, an in-house team of 6 people, and a team of stable freelancing developers.

Before I left Alquilando, we were starting the backend refactoring from CodeIgniter to Laravel (A more structured PHP framework) to accomplish the same success we had on the front end.
